Forming a Team

If you’re reading this, it’s because I want you on my team in some meaningful way.

You’re someone I respect creatively, personally, or professionally. And I think there’s a real chance that something cool, sustainable, and community-powered can grow out of what I’m building right now. I’m inviting you to consider being part of it.

I’ve been running live trivia events that are more than just a bar game. They’re weird, fun, original experiences with a strong creative format and a growing local following. Now, I’m turning it into a real operation. One that includes a public-facing website, a custom-built digital system for managing games, and a collaborative team of people each owning their piece of the puzzle.

At its core, this is about more than just game night. It’s about community. One of my biggest goals is to make every event an opportunity to connect players with local businesses in ways that are playful, memorable, and mutually beneficial. I already have several local sponsors lined up to be featured during games, and I want this to become a defining part DeepSandwich.xyz events. It’s something I’ll continue to lead personally, but I’ll need a teammate who’s excited to help grow this into a real staple of our format.

This whole project is still in its early stages. The structure is forming, the events are running, and the energy is real. What I need now is a handful of enthusiastic people who want to own a role and shape how this grows. I’m not looking for passive help. I’m looking for collaborators. People who want to try ideas, test processes, challenge norms, and refine this thing together.

I’m at the point of my plan now where if I don’t set myself up for later success sooner than later, I will struggle to smartly manage growth. The last few weeks have presented me with surprising new opportunities faster than anticipated. I need help!

I want to work with people who bring energy, curiosity, and ideas to the table. People who are excited to build something from scratch. Not because it’s easy or polished yet, but because it’s ours to shape.

This is a grassroots operation. That means I can’t make anyone a millionaire any time soon. There may be times when we’re investing more energy than we’re getting paid for. But I will be fully transparent with every penny that moves through this project. And I will make sure that anyone on this team is on it because they believe in the vision and have a meaningful stake in what we’re building creatively, strategically, and financially.

If you’ve made it this far, and you’re feeling the pull, keep reading. Below is a breakdown of the core roles I’m trying to fill first. And if none of them describe you exactly, that’s okay. If you want to be part of it in some way, I want to hear about that too.

Bear in mind I won’t be filling every role immediately. This breakdown below is how I’m currently prioritizing major needs for help. Parts of certain roles will need to be shared until enough growth happens.

We’re building the team literally now. Let’s talk.

In 2 weeks or so I will be calling a meeting with all interested to discuss it as a group.
